The 80's and 90's.

I love the 80's and 90's. They were THE best time for music. You have bands like The Cure and The Smashing Pumpkins and then you have artists like David Bowie. There was SO much diversity. Not that there isn't today, but today alot of music just sounds the same, no matter the artist. I know I grew up during the 90's, but I'm still an 80's baby. :)

& in other notes,
ethan & I have 19 days until our wedding.

:) time to watch the wedding singer.

was super amazing. I definitely think Heath should be proud of his performance. AND he should win an Oscar. :)

He is sexy. :)

But not as sexy as my ethan. :)

<3

ah. life is nice.

My life as of July 16th, 2008.

Today is a good day. I had a few minutes and thought I'd post a blog. So, this upcoming couple of months are going to be the most stressful, amazing, and exciting months of my life. With Goody's closing in about 15 days, this should be a sad time for me. My expierences at the Goods have been both amazing and blessed. I have had a job I love doing for over a year now, with people who started off as coworkers and have become my dear family and friends. We have laughed, cried, and screamed together. We have tripped over things in the store and almost busted our asses (Okay, so maybe that was just me...). We have called code 101's til our voices hurt from arguing with customers, and have taken oh so many trips to the candy store, the whole way there hoping we wouldn't get the slow ass lady. Now all that is coming to an end. But its okay, it isn't as bad as I thought. We are all moving on, and going to do bigger and better things. This is what was in store for us all along, and we are all better and stronger people because of the store and the people within it. The memories we've made will stay within our hearts and within that empty building. On to other things....

Sunday is my lingerie shower that my mom is throwing. :) I convinced her to let me invite a Pure Romance consultant there as well to sell toys. :) I always wanted to have one and figured, what the hell man, there's no better time than right before you get married. :) I am very excited. As Lisa V puts it, "The penii (plural for penis) shall be plentiful." :) We have a large assortment of penis shaped items for gags and laughs and drinking our drinks. aahhaha. All sorts of bad can only come from this, but they will make for some CRAZY hilarious pictures (Which, I have promised Christina that I will TRY to not post any incriminating photos of her online, hahahaahahahah).

In only about 20 days, I'm leaving for Myrtle Beach to get married to Ethan, the one true love of my life. The one who has been there for me through thick and thin and who has always loved me enough to stand by me through my shittiest decisions. I am very excited, and very nervous, as its hard planning for a wedding when you're five hours away from where you will be having it. When we come back from the wedding, we're going to have a reception in Woodleaf with all of our friends and family. :) I'm very looking forward to that because of CAKE! :) hahahahahaha.

After the wedding, I will have about 10 weeks or less til Rebecca gets here. :) I think the mother is throwing the baby shower in September sometime. Not sure of an exact date yet, I suspect her and my grandmother will be very hard at work planning this as soon as the reception is over. :) I am very excited for that too, because when it gets here, its even more real that she's almost here. :)

We also might be getting an apartment of our own sometime soon, which is great. I really don't mind it taking a bit to get though, I'd rather live at home for a while than not be fully able to do the whole living on our own thing. Every couple goes through their struggling period, and that would be ours. But I couldn't ask for a better boy to struggle with. :)

My life is very perfect and amazing at this moment. I have an amazing fiance, who will be the MOST amazing husband, and the most amazing DAD. :) I have a GREAT family and GREAT friends. :) My life is......good. :)
